Two sons of Man Utd icon sign first pro deals and impress Erik ten Hag

Darren Fletcher, the former Manchester United star, has reason to celebrate as his two sons, Jack and Tyler Fletcher, have officially inked their first professional contracts with the club. This exciting milestone comes after the twins spent nine years honing their skills at Manchester City before making the switch to their father’s former stomping grounds last summer.
Impressing the likes of United’s current boss, Erik ten Hag, Jack and Tyler, both 17 years old, showcased their talent and dedication while playing for United’s U18s team. Jack, in particular, caught the eye of the first-team manager, Ten Hag, with his stellar performances on the pitch. With eight appearances for the U18s under his belt, Jack’s stats speak for themselves, having notched up a goal and two assists. His prowess hasn’t gone unnoticed, as he’s already had the privilege of training with the senior squad this season. In fact, Jack’s standout performance in the FA Youth Cup against Derby County in December went viral, leaving many United fans in awe of his exceptional passing abilities. Drawing comparisons to Chelsea superstar Cole Palmer by his teammate Gabriele Biancheri only adds to the excitement surrounding Jack’s potential.
Taking to social media, Jack expressed his pride in signing his first professional contract with Manchester United, a momentous occasion for any young player. Meanwhile, Tyler, also a midfielder like his brother, may not have reached the same heights just yet, but his impressive skills have earned him a professional contract as well.
Both born in Manchester, Jack represents England at the youth level while Tyler has made his mark as a Scotland youth international. Their father, Darren Fletcher, a legend in his own right, made a significant impact during his time at Manchester United, amassing 342 appearances for the club between 2003 and 2015. Additionally, he proudly represented Scotland, earning 80 caps for his national team.
With the Fletcher twins now part of the prestigious Manchester United setup, the future looks bright for these promising young talents as they aim to carve out their own legacies in the world of football, following in their father’s illustrious footsteps.
