Man Utd fans have a lot to say about Willy Kambwala after Bournemouth match, they all make same complaint

Manchester United enthusiasts have been voicing their opinions on Willy Kambwala following his recent performance against Bournemouth in the Premier League last Saturday.
Willy Kambwala, a rising talent in the ranks, earned his stripes this season, marking his senior debut under the helm of manager Erik ten Hag. At a youthful age of 19, he has been gradually making his presence felt, clocking in appearances in seven league matches thus far, gaining invaluable experience along the way.
Ten Hag, grappling with a string of defensive setbacks due to injuries, has turned to Kambwala to bolster the Red Devils’ backline. The young defender was called into action, stepping in for the injured Jonny Evans during the Premier League clash against Chelsea earlier this month. Subsequently, he found himself thrust into the starting lineup alongside Harry Maguire for the showdown against Liverpool, with a notable absence of key defenders like Victor Lindelof, Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, and Jonny Evans, all sidelined due to various injuries.
However, Kambwala’s outing against Bournemouth didn’t quite go according to plan. Dominic Solanke capitalized on a momentary slip by Kambwala, courtesy of a misplaced pass by Alejandro Garnacho, to put the home team ahead. Subsequently, Kambwala faced criticism for being left exposed by his teammates, notably during Bournemouth’s second goal, where Justin Kluivert found space unmarked and unleashed a powerful strike past the goalkeeper.
United fans took to the X platform, formerly known as Twitter, to express a myriad of sentiments regarding Kambwala’s performance. While some labeled it as an “absolute nightmare,” others empathized with the youngster, attributing his struggles to the lack of support from his fellow players, particularly highlighting Diogo Dalot’s alleged shortcomings in defense. The consensus seemed to revolve around the notion that Kambwala was left isolated and vulnerable, with fans lamenting the disjointedness and lack of cohesion within the team.
As opinions continue to diverge, one thing remains clear: Kambwala’s journey to establish himself in the United squad is a work in progress, with both setbacks and learning curves along the way.
